EVENT: SMART CITY EXPO WORLD CONGRESS

Barcelona 4-6 November 2025: CISC, together with RACE, participated in the Smart City Expo World Congress, a global event on urban innovation. The activities conducted by CNR involved providing technical and scientific support for the development of project initiatives proposed by companies and start-ups engaged through the Call4Matera tenders issued by the Municipality during 2024 and 2025

Numerous regular meetings were held to achieve the best possible integration with the Digital Twin’s technological infrastructure, already operational at the Matera House of Emerging Technologies (CTEMT).

The presentations by researchers from the Interdepartmental City Science Center (CNR-CISC) are:

  • – Mariangela De Vita (Diitet) Interdepartmental Center for City Science: Definition of a City Ontology;
    – Mariagiulia Di Lizia (Diitet): The “Human” Digital Twin, Participatory Territorial Knowledge;
    – Davide Donato Russo (Iasi): Digital Twin for Mobility (DTMob), Case Study;
    – Massimo Mari (Diitet): specific research activities to support local needs and urban innovation, the mobile laboratory implementation, and the support to local companies and startups.
